We are happy to share some exciting news: Code Your Path Foundation has received a grant from UNHCR to strengthen our work and launch a new AI Skills Pilot for refugees and asylum-seekers in Warsaw.
This is an important next step for Code Your Path.
In 2024, with UNHCR support, we delivered our first digital skills programme focused on Digital Marketing, NoCode Development and career support. Around 40 participants took part, and after the programme ended, our community continued to grow through workshops, mentoring and other activities.
Now we are moving into a new area: practical AI skills for economic inclusion.
The upcoming pilot programme will focus on two areas:
- AI for business — helping participants understand how AI can support entrepreneurship, productivity and everyday business tasks.
- AI for job search — using AI more effectively for CVs, applications, job research, preparation and career development.
The first pilot is planned for approximately 15–20 participants and will help us test and improve the programme before developing it further. Activities will be delivered in Warsaw, including through our space at Centrum Wielokulturowe, as well as online.
For us, this project is about much more than learning new AI tools. We want participants to gain practical skills they can actually use to find opportunities, build confidence, develop their careers and create their own economic opportunities.
We are grateful to UNHCR for supporting the next stage of Code Your Path’s development and for continuing to invest in refugee-led initiatives.
