Meet Iryna Haranenko, originally from Ukraine, now calling Poland her home since the war forced her to leave her country almost two years ago. Despite the upheaval, Iryna’s passion for design has been a guiding light throughout her journey.

Since childhood, Iryna has been captivated by the world of design and possesses a natural talent for drawing. In Ukraine, she pursued her interest by attending a short course in UI/UX design. However, it wasn’t until she joined CodeYourPath in Poland that her understanding of design truly blossomed.

Iryna is immensely grateful for CodeYourPath’s team, especially her mentor, Anisha. “After working with my mentor, I obtained new knowledge and skills. The aspect I enjoy the most is the research process, and my dream job is to communicate with people and create a suitable product,” adds Iryna.

Currently employed in the banking industry, Iryna’s heart lies in design, where she dreams of connecting with people and crafting products tailored to their needs. Poland has become her second home, and in her free time, she explores its parks, with Wilanow Palace holding a special place in her heart.

Looking ahead to 2024, Iryna is eager to expand her horizons further, both within Poland and abroad, visiting new sites and soaking in inspiration for her designs.

Iryna’s story is a testament to resilience and determination, showcasing how pursuing one’s passion can provide solace and direction in the face of adversity.
